Birds Fly Back consists of a linear edit and a two channel video installation. It was presented at the Eye Filmmuseum and the Gerrit Rietveld Academie during the Graduation Show of 2022. After that, the work won the Lakeside Collection Award.
The film also got selected for the NFF (Nederlands Film Festival) Studentcompetition and won the Dutch Film Fund Wildcard.
